All games will consist of two 12 and one 15 minutes periods.
Warm-up will be three minutes in length and will begin
as soon as the teams step onto the ice.
Teams must proceed immediately to their bench with the 5 starting players assuming
their face-off positions at center ice following the warm up.
Penalties may be issued for failure
to comply with this regulation
There will a flood following the second period of each game
Third period will start immediately following the
flood
Penalties may be issued to any teams that are late getting back to the ice / bench following the flood
Teams must be ready 30 minutes prior to the scheduled game time. Games can
and will start 30 minutes prior to listed time if the schedule is running ahead.
Please note that any injured players who remain on the ice until a Trainer / Coach comes onto the ice to help them
must leave the game for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Home teams are responsibility to check on sweater colors
prior to the start of the game.
A five goal differential after the second period will result in the remainder of the
game being played straight time.
One time out per game in the Final Games Only
Tie Breaker for finals:
a) Result between two teams’ head to head
b) Team with the most wins
c) Best plus/minus
d) Goal
differential (see HNS formula)
e) Team
with the fewest penalty minutes.
Overtime Format
for Finals:
a)
5 minute sudden victory period 4 on 4
b) Shoot out 3
players, and then one and one sudden victory… continues with this format until a winner is declared.
