NOVA SCOTIA SELECTS 2000 TEAM - 2011

The Nova Scotia Selects are pleased to announce that Brad Schnurr will be returning as the 2000 Head Coach for the spring of 2011.

 

 

 

Head Coach – Brad Schnurr

 

Brad will be the Head Coach of the 2011 Nova Scotia Selects 2000 hockey team.  We are very excited to have Brad aboard as he brings a wealth of knowledge to the Program and his credentials are impressive. 

 

1980 – 1981 – Member of the Kitchener Rangers Major Junior A (Ontario Hockey League) Memorial Cup Finalists

1981 – 1982 – Member of the Kitchener Rangers Major Junior A (Ontario Hockey League) Memorial Cup Champions

1984 -1985 – Member of Dave King’s touring Team Canada (played a 10 game series tour against Moscow Dynamo)

1985 –1986 - Played Professional Hockey in the U.K., member of the Solihull Barons in the British Hockey League (was selected Player of the Year- MVP for the League)

Tournaments

3 very competitive tournaments- New Brunswick, PEI and Halifax and additional 4th tournament has been added as well, Jr. X-Men Tournament in Antigonish

 

Practice Strategy   

12- 1.5 hour sessions

High Intensity Practices focusing on the development of individual skills and team tactics.

 

Practices will also have see guest instructors Chris Donnelly (Halifax Mooseheads)

 

 

Brad’s experience and knowledge is a great attribute to this 2000 team and will help to ensure the development of the players during an important time in their hockey development.
